Wiki, Blog or Weebly?

Using a chalkboard or white board to teach the children in the classroom and have them learn something is that will be useful for them in the future. I believe using wiki is one great way to encourage the children to learn through technology especially when the generation x and y are digital natives because we were born into the world of technology!

I think with both wiki and blog you can add anything that will have children learning as long as it's safe and legal. Both are very similar in many ways!! Although I haven't done a lot of both wiki and blogs, I am finding blog more straightforward. Most are following blogs as there is more information on the blogs.Maybe it's a tool that most people, from any generation, are finding it simple. Wiki and blog,it's a great interaction among the students to share their thoughts about what we are discussing. Both gives us the opportunity to help each other learn!

Blogging,is more a diary or a journel for students to reflect on their class learning. For teachers, it's a great technology tool to use to expand the students learning by adding different links for the students to learn. Blogs is a place where other students and teachers can add comments to reflect on what they have learnt and how they can help each other expand their learning.

Wiki, I find you need the patience to find your way around before adding the information you want to add. You have the ability to create and edit a website of your choice that would help with learning. However, for other students to look onto the wiki page, they have the ability to to edit and change your website, therefore you would lose the information you have added.Wiki is a website to help teach others, a place where other students can help you learn.

I tried out what weebly website would be like and I found it dull. It's something that is quick and simple particularly for the younger age groups where they can play around on it and create their assignment simple! I haven't done too much to my weebly website but it shows I looked at it and explored what tools there is on weebly. I find weebly is more a place to add information that is related to a particular subject, it is more for teachers to use and have little interaction from students.
